Understanding the Spirit of God

God’s desire for man is first our eternal salvation, then that we would be unified as one in Him, through the love of Jesus and the power of His Holy Spirit. In the patterns of the feast days, God has handed down His covenants and promises to His people. During the celebration of each Holy Day, the Father reveals His Spirit and how to grow deeper in our relationship with Him. And as we grow closer to our Lord, so does our desire for unity with others.

A clear pattern for the Lordship of Jesus Christ can be found in the feast of Pentecost. Through the merciful shedding of blood by our Messiah, we have been given the right of inheritance in His kingdom. And just as it was with the disciples during the Feast of Pentecost, we too, have been empowered by the Holy Spirit to have victory over the flesh.

This church was to soon become the host to the now, well known Pensacola Outpouring Revival and would see over four million people touched by God’s Holy Spirit. The leadership of Brownville Assembly attributes these very teachings with laying the foundation for this mighty move of God.
